FRAME UPDATES

Below you will see thumbs of the progress so far.
Please click an image for a larger view.

The idea of using an oil in frame design has been dropped, using a conventional oil tank instead.
although these pics show an oval swing arm, as standard the kit will have a box section arm.

Headstock rake is 26 degrees, Wheelbase 56"
The final headsteady will be Dural, not steel plate as shown in the pictures.
A sprocket has been fitted to the gearbox, courtesy of Battistini's
In the pics the frame is fitted with Spondon adjustable yokes, forks, T140 wheels fitted with spacers.

These are for track testing , the frame will take a standard sporster front end, but you may want to up rate the fork springs and drop the yokes over the tubes .

To get an idea of scale one pic has someone in greasy overalls sitting on it.
That is Paul! the designer and developer of the project. A Rolls Royce trained engineer (if they could see him now)

At present an exhaust system is being made up for testing, a modified sporty battery box fitted, a steel oil tank (will be aluminium in the kit) plus finding places for the reg/rec, ign switch, coil, etc...

More new pics at the bottom of this page. Showing the swingarm unit which will be offered with the frame kit
